The crash occurred at 9:55 p.m. on N.C. 133, south of Sunny Point, between the intersections of Bethel Road and N.C. 87, according to Trooper M.R. Strangman of the N.C. Highway Patrol.

Police charged Omar Perez, 23, who also uses the name Omar Morales, with felony death by motor vehicle, DWI and driving on a revoked license, Strangman said.

Arthur Hart, 42, of Southport was killed in the crash.

Perez was headed north on N.C. 133 in a Ford Explorer when he crossed the center turn lane and collided into the side of Hart's car, Strangman said.

A witness told police Perez was driving without his headlights on.

He is being held at Brunswick County jail on a $20,000 bond.

    RE: Link

Probably another drunk illegal with no insurance; since he has numerous names or an alias.
Hope I am wrong -highly doubt it though based on statistics. Guess we will see.
Seems as if the good guy always dies and the illegal seems to always survive. Just another reason to ship them all back especially since they suck up so much of our much needed money these days.

You'll probably have to read about it in the Charlotte news...or Raleigh.
Too many local accidents in the local news is bad for tourism
